Penang is a state in northwest Malaysia comprising mainland Seberang Perai and Penang Island. On the island, the state capital of George Town is home to landmarks such as colonial Fort Cornwallis, the ornate Chinese clan house Khoo Kongsi and the Kapitan Keling Mosque, all testaments to centuries of foreign influence. To the west, a funicular ascends Penang Hill, with its trails, flower gardens and panoramic views. And, in Penang, it was Double Tree Resort by Hilton Penang I amazingly stayed for 3 days 2 nights!

Ipoh is a city in northwestern Malaysia, known as a gateway to the Cameron Highlands hill station. In the former Hakka Miners’ Club, Han Chin Pet Soo is a museum about the tin-mining industry and Hakka community. Sam Poh Tong is a Buddhist temple in a limestone cave. To the south, Kellie’s Castle is an unfinished mansion built by a Scottish planter. Southeast, the vast Gua Tempurung cave has dramatic rock formations. And, before I headed to Penang, I made a stop-over to Ipoh and it's The Haven Resort Hotel - Ipoh where I had an amazing stay for 2 days 1 night only.

The moment I arrived, warm greetings extended to me and only after 10-minute check-in procedure, key cards were passed to me. The Premier Room was amazing! spacious and spotlessly clean! But before I went to my room, I visited first the Westin Executive Club which is really amazing and sophisticated!

Langkawi Island, Malaysia, a 1.5-hr travel by plane from Singapore and an amazing beach/island travel destination in Malaysia where you can explore different beaches...Pantai Cenang Beach, Tengkorak Beach, Pantai Tengah Beach, Tanjung Rhu Beach, Shark Bay Beach (Teluk Yu), to name a few and can visit different islands, Baras Besah, Singa Besar, Dayang Bunting and of course, Seven Wells Waterfalls and Langkawi Cable Car. With nice local people, a total getaway destination and relaxing environment, indeed I came back here for third time from Singapore!

Temple Tree Resort http://www.templetree.com.my/, a 10-minute drive only from the Langkawi Airport. With most exquisite Antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin, make up this 8 villa hotel.  Each building has, over its 70-110 year old history, created its own heart and soul. And, among their most eclectic, cosy and vintage house rooms, it was their "Chinese House 1" I chose to stay for 3 days 2 nights.

"Pangkor Laut Resort", The Most Amazing & Beautiful Luxury Resort in Malaysia!!!

Pangkor Laut Resort is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca. This piece of paradise has been 2 million years in the making, where you will find one of the premier resorts nestling in the shade of forest giants as old as the land. Upon arrival on this beautiful island resort, our villa was ready for check-in but, our Guest Experience Staff briefed us first on the details and locations of restaurants, rooms, facilities, etc. at the Reception area for 10 minutes, which is for me very helpful especially if you are in a big island. For 3 days 2 nights stay, we took the Resident's Package that only cost US$400 per night.

Located 90 minutes south of the capital, Sepang seems a world away from Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant city pace, with a lush landscape of plantations, mangroves, and wetlands, as well as charming fishing villages.  The sandy coast and calm waters of the Malacca Straits are perfect for sunbathing, beach games, as well as a wide range of water sports. And, it was last weekend when I decided to visit this luxury resort together with my friends. Among their 315 water palm features villas, we stayed at "Family Villa", that costs MYR1,457.50 (S$520) /per room per night with breakfast for two and extra pax is additional MYR210 (S$74) with breakfast, with below amenities.
