Nha Trang, Vietnam is one of the most surprising amazing beach destinations that I traveled to. Situated 1,350-kilometer from Hanoi and 450-kilometer from Ho Chi Minh City, this beautiful coastal city is well known for its beaches and scuba diving. Over a decade, it has been developed into a popular destination for international tourists, attracting large numbers of  travelers to Southeast Asia and Vietnamese tourists.

PARKROYAL Saigon Hotel, located 10 minutes away from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre, making it suitable for both business and leisure. Upon arrival at the airport, only after 10-minute drive, I've arrived at PARKROYAL Hotel Saigon. As I arrived, a lot of expats, Flight Attendants and Pilots were staying here. And, among their nicest rooms and suites, it was their De Luxe Room, which only cost USD$130 per room per night that I have stayed.

"Six Senses Con Dao", Absolutely One of the Most Amazing Resorts in Asia!

It was in 2014...after I watched the Travel Channel that I started to dream of Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam. Since then...I made a  promise to myself that someday I will visit this beautiful and exclusive island luxury resort of Six Senses Con Dao Resort (where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stayed in 2011 for 5 days) .

It was last week that I spent 3 days/2 nights at this exclusive resort  Six Senses Con Dao.  Six Senses Con Dao is delightfully remote, which presents elegantly designed modern accommodations with generous personal space, lush tropical mangrove vegetation, and breathtaking views out to sea. Each villa comes with its own private infinity pool and unobstructed water vistas.  Six Senses Con Dao, the first five-star resort in the archipelago islands, is contemporary in design and reflects the essence of a traditional fishing village. Passionate about supporting and protecting the environment, Six Senses Con Dao’s demonstrated commitment to sustainability has been recognized as one of the world’s top eco-lodges by National Geographic Traveler.  

Con Son Island, home of Six Senses Con Dao, is 230 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN). It is a 45-minute flight to Co Ong Airport (VCS), then a 10-minute transfer to the resort.  From Singapore, my friend and I had flown to Ho Chi Minh City and to Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao Island via Vietnam Airlines, which cost USD$210 (Php10K) for 2-way transfers. And, after a 45-minute flight, we finally arrived at Con Dao Island.

Mui Ne, a nice beach travel destination in the south of Vietnam, a 4-hr drive from the Ho Chi Minh Airport. The formerly little-inhabited beach south of the fishing village of Mui Ne proper has seen some serious development in the last 15 years. Now, it is a 15 km long strip of resorts that line up like pearls on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, shaded by coconut palms. "Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel", a Historical and Must-Stay Hotel in Hanoi!

Hanoi is famous for the landmarks like the street of Old Quarter, near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, which has the original street layout and architecture of old Hanoi. At the beginning of the 20th century the city consisted of only about 36 streets, most of which are now part of the old quarter. Each street then had merchants and households specialised in a particular trade, such as silk traders, jewelry, etc.
