My 100th Blog: Top 10 Things that I Love in my Travel Journey !!!

Bali Indonesia

It was March 2013, when I started blogging after my 10-Day Solo Asian Trip Journey where I traveled to Jakarta - Bali - Phuket - Krabi - Bangkok - Cambodia from Singapore. I'm a self-taught Blogger and Photographer, and after 4 years, I have finally reached my 100th blog . So, I listed down all the Top 10 Things that I love in my Travel journey!

1. Most Read Blog - Cameron Highlands Resort
2. Most Expensive but Amazing Hotel - The Sanchaya Bintan
3.  Best Spa Treatment - Pangkor Laut Resort
 4.  Most Favorite Bath Tub - Bon Ton Resort, Langkawi
5. Most Extensive Buffet Breakfast - Dhara Devi Chang Mai
6. Most Secluded & Relaxing Hotel   - Six Senses Con Dao
7. Most Beautiful Beach - Anantara Veli Maldives
8. Most Amazing Pool - Viceroy Bali
9. Most Amazing Dining Experience - Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
 10. Most Memorable & Amazing Hotel - Gainsborough Bath Spa

1. Most Read Blog:   Cameron Highlands Resort
Cameron Highlands Resort is an amazing 5-star classic hotel under YTL Hotels that I visited in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia way back in February 2015 for 3 days 2 nights. There, I was able to visit the most famous BOH Tea Plantation, did the 2-hour Jim Thomson Mystery Trail that features Jim Thomson, the legendary American Businessman known as Thai "Silk King" who mysteriously disappeared while holidaying at the Moonlight Bungalow in Cameron Highlands in March 1967 and experienced one-of-a-kind "Tea Bubble Bath" during my Spa Treatment at SPA Village Cameron Highland Resort.

2. Most Expensive Hotel room that I stayed:  Not Maldives! It's The Sanchaya Bintan Indonesia that costs US$1,275.00 per room per night.

The Sanchaya is a private estate set on the prime northern coast of Bintan Island (45-minute ferry ride from Singapore) and will form a part of a wider development project for Lagoi Bay bespoke collection of 21 villas and 9 suites which you can check out on www.thesanchaya.com where I stayed for 2 days 1 night only at Great House Verandah Sea View Suite.

3. Best Spa Treatment: 3-hour SPA treatment called "Princess Spa Treatment" at Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia.

Pangkor Laut Resort is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca. This piece of paradise has been 2 million years in the making, where you will find one of the premier resorts nestling in the shade of forest giants as old as the land. Hollywood stars like Celine Dion, Keira Knightley...some of the stars who stayed here and it was September 2015 I stayed here 3 days 2 nights.

3-hour SPA treatment called "Princess Spa Treatment"

Malay Traditional Massage
Hair Cream Bath
Facial and Body Scrub
Fragrant Milk Bath
Scented Body Steaming
Herbal Tonic Drink

SPA Village at Pangkor Laut resort has such amazing treatments with diverse inspirations from the history of people and cultures of Malay, Chinese, and Indian practices which makes this Spa Resort very authentic and ideal for complete rejuvenation and relaxation. My  Princess Spa Treatment starts with a soothing foot bath and an invigorating Chinese Foot Pounding, then I was escorted to the Bath Houses to enjoy the traditional Malay "circulating" bath and a Japenese-style cleansing with a "goshi-goshi" cloth, followed by a dip in the headed Rotenburu Pool then, their professional spa staff gave me a gentle exfoliating wash with their signature Shanghai Scrub.

4. Most Favorite Bath Tub: The Wooden Bath Tub in  Bon Ton Resort Langkawi in Malaysia. My stargazing moment whilst having a warm bubble bath in a wooden bathtub is one of my most relaxing bubble bath experience.

Bon Ton Resort (Langkawi) is one of the island's most stylish, unique, and intimate resorts, with eight individually styled antique Malay villas, the perfect small boutique hotel. Nam Restaurant at Bon Ton is regarded as one of the best on the island. Located 10 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes drive from the main beach of Pantai Cenang, Bon Ton is convenient yet secluded. Built within the grounds of a 100-year-old coconut plantation, the villas are centered around a pool/jacuzzi and front onto a lotus lagoon.

5. Most Extensive Buffet Breakfast: at Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai
The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai https://dharadhevi.co.th/ offers 64 air-conditioned accommodations with DVD players and minibars. Rooms open to balconies. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas. 32-inch LED televisions come with premium cable channels. Refrigerators and coffee/tea makers are provided. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries. This Chiang Mai hotel provides complimentary wireless Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include complimentary newspapers and safes. Additionally, rooms include complimentary bottled water and hair dryers. In-room massages and hypo-allergenic bedding can be requested. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered daily.

6. Most Secluded & Relaxing Hotel that I stayed:  Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam where I visited in June 2015. Vietnam is one of my favorite destinations in Asia where I stayed on this amazing and exclusive 5-star resort in Con Dao Island in Vietnam where I walked to the beach felt like I owned it since it is so exclusive. No wonder the then-Hollywood couple Brad Pitt & Angeline Jolie stayed here as a family for almost a week! And, it was June 2015 that I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights.

Six Senses Con Dao, the first five-star resort in the archipelago islands, is contemporary in design and reflects the essence of a traditional fishing village. Passionate about supporting and protecting the environment, Six Senses Con Dao's demonstrated commitment to sustainability has been recognized as one of the world's top eco-lodges by National Geographic Traveler.

7. Most Beautiful Beach: Beach in Anantara Veli Maldives! Deluxe-Over Water Bungalow that costs USD$937 per night with breakfast for two (2) during my stay in July 2014 for 3 days 2 nights.

8. Most Amazing PoolViceroy Bali in Bali, Indonesia where I visited twice for 3 days 2 nights in August 2013 and December 2014 is my top choice for choosing the most amazing pool in all my hotel stays.

9. Most Amazing Dining Experience Definitely at  Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

The most romantic and one-of-a-kind fine dining experience at Wine Cave in Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam cost USD$96nett per person. The Wine Cave is an authentic hillside rock cavern; a unique setting for a very intimate dinner, as the ambient lighting and the cozy atmosphere, set the tone for that special occasion, and indeed, one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had in all my luxury hotels and resorts stays. Hilltop Pool Villa" that costs US$750.00 Nett per night with daily breakfast for two (2) persons.

Vietnamese Spring Roll
Scallops Rare grill, mixed cress, and truffle oil and tomato salsa
Oriental style Tuna Carpaccio with Local mango and lime granite

Australian Beef Tenderloin
My dessert Pandan Creme Brulee

10. Most Memorable & Amazing Hotel - My trip to Bath, UK at Jane Austen and, my stay at most amazing hotel in Bath, Gainsborough Bath UK!

Pride and Prejudice...my most favorite romance novel of all time and was written by my favorite English novelist, Jane Austen, where Bath she lived for many years. But visiting Bath made me realized that it's not only the Jane Austen's Centre should be the reason to visit this amazing city, but as well as discovering the city itself...for its beauty, history, and charm. And, my stay in Gainsborough Bath Spa was so amazing!
