"Viceroy Bali", I think of all the places that I visited and traveled last year 2013, this luxury resort totally Top my list. Now, one of the most well-known resorts not only in Ubud, but in whole Bali. This year 2014, I made a point to come back once again to this beautiful & amazing hotel.
It was two weeks ago when I visited Viceroy Bali together with my sister, Jonalyn, and stayed for 3 days & 2 nights in two different Villas (Garden and Terrace). Viceroy Bali, http://www.viceroybali.com/en/introduction.php , located 5 mins. from the centre of Ubud and 50 mins. from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Viceroy Bali is a luxury 5-star hotel, a family-owned and operated resort in Ubud
consisting of 25 luxuriously appointed private pool villas, majestically
situated in Bali's "Valley of the Kings", an appellation given by locals
for the generations of Balinese royalty who have resided in nearby

After our breakfast, we've had our amazing 3.5-hr SPA Experience trying their "Cleopatra SPA Treatment", which cost USD$205 or Php9,000/treatment for two in Lembah SPA, http://www.lembahspa.com/en/treatments.php
Cleopatra on Petanu River (2 hours 30 mins)
- Body exfoliation with candle nut scrub

- Body mask, smothered in natural yoghurt

After our amazing SPA, in the afternoon we transferred to our new villa, Terrace Villa http://www.viceroybali.com/en/accommodation/terrace-villas.php . Terrace Villa, a USD$785++ or Php35,000+/per night, a villa that features a "Bale" pavilion perched dramatically over the private swimming pool with wonderful views over the river George, the vast bedroom and sitting room open a designer bathroom.

After staying a while in our new villa (Terrace), we decided to go out and visit the Monkey Forest. Viceroy Bali offers a FREE car transportation to Ubud, which is totally convenient for the guests. And, Monkey Forest is only 10-15 mins. drive from Viceroy Bali.

In the evening, we had our six course fine dining dinner at their famous restaurant, Cascades Restaurant (#1 Restaurant in UBUD Bali), with signature menu, "Indonesia Degustation", which I'm soooo recommending that cost USD$79 or Php3,500/per pax.

And on our 3rd day (last day) in Viceroy Bali, we've got lucky that it didn't rain so, we glanced the beautiful sunrise, which a lot of good photos I took.
