"Eat, Pray, Love" in Bali Indonesia!

"Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert...I think all the fabulous women who love to travel know this book and also the 2010 movie of Julia Roberts. And, it's actually one of the reasons why I visited Bali for Eat, Pray, Love Journey. As I visited Bali four times since 2013, indeed, Bali is amazing! and I really found my comfort and zen as a Female Traveler here! So, here are some of the Best Places to Visit and Amazing Luxury Resorts in Bali ( Viceroy Bali and Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali ) where I stayed during my visit.


Top 10 Best Places to Visit

1.) Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home to the pilgrimage temple Pura Tanah Lot, a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography.  Entrance fee is IDR30,000 (USD$2) per person only.

2. Tegenungan Waterfalls
Tegenungan Waterfall is a waterfall on Bali, Indonesia. It is located at the Tegenungan Kemenh village. The waterfall is isolated but has become a popular tourist attraction to explore and relax. It is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that is not situated in highlands or mountainous territory. Entrance fee is IDR10,000 per person only.




3.) Ubud Monkey Forest
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and Hindu temple complex in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Its official name is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Entrance fee is IDR30,000 per person only.






4. Echo Beach
Echo Beach is one of the Bali’s most recently christened surf spots. The nickname overshadows its local name ‘Pantai Batu Mejan’, after a significant Balinese Hindu sea temple on site. The black-sand beach is approximately 35km northwest of Kuta and Seminyak and one of the nicest beach sunsets I have ever seen!

  






5. Coffee Experience in AlamBali
I'm a coffeeholic (drink 4-5 cups daily) so, tasting a local coffee every time I travel is always included in my itinerary.

6. Batuan Village/Local House Painting
This Batuan Village made me see all kinds of beautiful and amazing paintings. They have hundreds of paintings you could choose from and all hand fully drawn by locals.






7.  Tophati Village or Batik Hand Weaving
Women are doing hand scarves, clothes and bags. They open this village for tourists to see and buy their own hand made products. 
 

 
8. Celuk Village or Gold & Silver Smith
Women and Men are doing all kinds of jewelries here from silver to gold of earrings and bracelets. A good souvenir specially for those who love to collect local & authentic jewelry.




 9. Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Tegalalang Rice Terrace is one of the famous tourist objects in Bali situated in Tegalalang Village north of Ubud Bali featured by the amazing rice terrace set the cliff. Tegalalang Village is located on 600 m above sea levels covered by good temperature where most of the villagers as a farmer. Entrance fee is IDR10,000 per person only.



10. Kintamani or Lunch with Volcano View
For only USD$10 you can have your buffet lunch here with the most spectacular volcanic view.




Where to Stay:

With hundreds of resorts in Bali, I wouldn't say that I enjoyed or fell in love with Bali Indonesia if I didn't stay to these two amazing luxury resorts...Viceroy Bali in Ubud and Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali in Tembok.

Viceroy Bali is the first hotel/resort that I stayed in Ubud. For twice (2013 and 2014) I came back on this amazing luxury resort...and it never failed to impress me every time I stayed here. Viceroy Bali is one of the most beautiful and amazing hotels that I stayed ever! All villas have their own pool, the view from their infinity pool is amazing and the spa (Lembha Spa) gave me one of the most memorable spa experiences in all my travel journeys!







A villa with 150 m2 (1615 ft2) in size that costs USD$1,050++ per room per night.  The bedroom is integrated with a generous living space, spacious bathroom, terrace and pool. Sunrises are simply spectacular, when viewed over breakfast on the terrace of this romantic villa. Complementing the modern design of these private villa rooms are a heated pool and balĂ©, with many thoughtful features that transform it into a romantic villa room for couples or families with an interconnecting door between two villas on the undercover private deck.









Pool Villa
