Hanoi, a Top-rated travel destination in Vietnam next to Ho Chi Minh as per Tripadvisor.com, which comes from the word "Ha" means river and "Noi" means within, as my tour guide says to me from Asia Tour Advisor http://www.asiatouradvisor.com during my travel tour to Hanoi last weekend. It was actually the Ha Long Bay, one of my ideal travel destinations for travel photography that leads me to visit Hanoi, Vietnam. And, since
my friend and I were going to explore Hanoi for only 3 days
and 2 nights which includes Ha Long Bay Day Tour, we have decided to
engage with a travel tour which is easier and more convenient. Asia Tour Advisor has given us a well-planned itinerary which all includes airport
pick-up services, Ha Long Bay day tour and hotel accommodation with
breakfast for only USD$350 for 2 pax and below is our itinerary.
Day 1: Noi Bai Airport- Hotel
After 2.5 hours flight from Singapore to Hanoi , we arrived at Noi Bai airport. The car picked us up and transferred to our hotel in Old Quarter, which is a 45-min drive from the airport. After settling in our room, my friend and I had a nice dinner at Green Mango Restaurant . Old Quarter is a very busy street with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and street foods.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay Day Tour
At 8:00 a.m., we were picked-up by a private van for driving us from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Halong Bay. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone peaks or karsts that just from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. At 12:00 pm (noon time), we embarked at our Hai Long junk or boat for a fantastic 4-hour cruise through the thousands of limestone islands rising out of the emerald water of Halong Bay and a fresh seafood lunch was served on board.

During our Ha Long Bay tour, we visited the most beautiful grottos at the Bay: Dau Go (Wooden Stakes) and Thien Cung (Haven Palace).

After 4pm, we headed back to Hanoi Tirant Hotel , where we had our good stay. The Hanoi Tirant Hotel, a new beautiful Oriental downtown hotel in Hanoi, blends oriental luxury accommodations with intuitive service. Located in Old Quarter neighborhood of Hanoi and nestled between the 36 Hanoi Old Street and the center of Hanoi Tourist attraction. This hotel is actually just to Hoan Kiem Lake (2 minute-walking); Opera House, Water Puppet Theater, Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, the War Museum, and Temple of Literature or Hoan Kiem Lake.
Day 3: Hotel- Noi Bai Airport
On our last day, we woke up at 6am and enjoyed our time walking in the street of Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake . And, took a ride for an hour in a "Cyclo", which cost us USD$12 only.

Ha Long Bay is one of my favorite attractions to see in Asia. I have been there few months ago after completing my hearst castle tours with my family. This spot is an awesome blend of thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. I like this place due to its stunning natural beauty and cruising. I really enjoyed with my family during a cruising trip.
