Upon arrival, warm greetings extended to us and only after 10 minutes, our room was ready. Among their 316 spacious and well-designed rooms and suites, it was the Deluxe Room we chose to stay that only costs Php8,000.00++ per room per night - Bed & Breakfast which comes with breakfast buffet at Cucina.

After settling in our room, we went to 24th floor to have an Afternoon Tea at Connect Lounge for Php888.00 only for 2 persons from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, daily. Served in a 3-tier stand, enjoy a customized set of pastries from a wide array of selections such as scones and mini sandwiches paired with hot tea. Guests can also opt to upgrade their drinks to a glass of Moet & Chandon, Smoothie, or Iced Tea. Experience a new sanctuary with a more relaxing ambience and good drinks on the 24/F of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila.

After our nice afternoon tea, I went for a dip at their amazing indoor pool. The indoor infinity pool of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is strategically situated on the 22nd level of the hotel tower overlooking the Ortigas cityscape.
In the late afternoon, we went for Aperitivo at Vu's Skybar in 45th floor that only costs Php899.00 per person and the view was fantastic! Inspired by Anti Pasti Misto Buffet, take your pre-dinner drinks and appetizers to new heights with an Italian ritual to enjoy with a view. Indulge in its vast selection of cocktails, wines and other spirits together with a well-curated line-up of dishes that is a good mix of Filipino, Spanish and other Mediterranean favorites. Introducing Aperitivo, an Italian ritual of socialising over good food and drinks. It consists a wide range of appetizers, such as cold cuts, pizzas, cheeses, croquettes, and a free flow of house wine. It serves on Monday to Wednesday, a la carte 5PM to 8PM and Thursday to Saturday, buffet 5PM to 8PM. And, since, we went on Monday so, we had a la carte.

The next morning, we had an amazing buffet breakfast at Cucina. A refined and fashionable all-day restaurant located on the 24th floor of the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila hotel tower. This restaurant has an interactive open kitchen featuring a fresh and healthy buffet and an a la carte menu offering innovative Continental and Asian cuisines. With a seating capacity of 156, this restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At lunch, we had an amazing dining experience at Lung Hin Restaurant. A contemporary specialty restaurant located on the 44th floor of the hotel tower which features authentic Cantonese cuisine and fresh seafood. The chic interiors and expansive layout of the main restaurant and the exclusively appointed private dining rooms are ideal venues for intimate gatherings.

In the afternoon, we tried the sandwich, frappes and signature cakes at Café Pronto in Ground Level! Café Pronto offers an array of savories, sandwiches, cakes, breads, fine chocolates, over-sized cookies, croissants, range of quality coffees and tea selections.

In the evening, we tried the amazing buffet dinner at Cucina’s newly upgraded seafood station which features the "Catch of the Sea" that only costs Ph2,650.00 per person during Fridays & Saturdays and Php2,250 during Sundays-Thursdays. Bringing in new experiences to the table, the all-day dining restaurant, Cucina, elevates one of its most well-loved live action stations, the Seafood. Feast on the lavish seafood spread, bringing the true taste of the sea, at its finest. Start your journey with oysters. Have it as fresh, or request for the baked version by the restaurant’s expert chefs. A simpler but still rich clams are also part of the wide array of seafood selections, together with the delicious and prime mussels. Types of crabs such as the Blue Swimmer Crabs and Curacha are also featured. Enjoy their tenderness and juiciness with prawns that are of perfection—truly are gourmet’s delights.

As a 2-year GHA Discovery BLACK Member, it was actually Marco Polo Ortigas Manila was the first property that I stayed under its brand. Again, for my second stay, it exceeded my expectations! So, if you have plans to have a weekend getaway and to unwind or relax with your family or loved ones , Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is indeed a very good choice to stay in Manila!
