Luckily, in the Philippines, there's one Santorini Greece inspired hotel in San Fernando La Union, that as a Family, last week, we have traveled smoothly for 6 hrs. from Cavite via NLEx-SCTEx-TPLEx freeway and stayed for 2 days 1 night only. Among their most amazing and nicest rooms, we had chosen to stay at two (2) De Luxe Rooms (Connecting Rooms) in Level 1, which only cost Php8,900++ per room per night that comes with two (2) Queen Size Beds, Veranda with Sea View, Huge Bathroom with Rain Shower and 32" Cable Led TV. As additional information, the above rate is good for four (4) adults per room per night. An additional person will incur a charge of Php1,500 per adult (no provision of extra bed). Children ages 6-12 years old are discounted with 50% off the breakfast rate and children 5 years old and below are free of charge for breakfast.

Only after a few minutes settling and putting our things in our rooms, we couldn't help but to check their amazing facilities and great surroundings and totally we were impressed how amazing to stay here. And, here some of the amazing places and nice views I took of this one-of-a-kind Santorini Greece inspired hotel.

While kids were enjoying their swim, all men watched the Pacquiao vs Mayweather boxing fight at their Casino.
In the afternoon, kids had enjoyed again their swim and as for myself, I took time to take photos of the sunset while walking near the beach area.

In the evening, we had a fantastic fine dining experience at Olives Restaurant http://www.thunderbird-asia.com/poro-point/dining ,where the food was Fantastic! Since we are 9 adults + 4 kids, we've made a reservation first so, the moment we came in, our long table was ready.

The next morning, we had an amazing breakfast buffet at Olives Restaurant that serves and offered a wide variety of Filipino and Western food. After our amazing breakfast, we went to the beach (can walk for 10-15mins from the hotel) and totally, we were surprised how amazingly pristine, clean and nice beach they have.

After our enjoyable time at the beach, before we've check-out, we went out for lunch and went to the most famous "Halo-Halo de Iloko" at the town, where I've visited many times in 2005 with friends. And, still, their Halo-Halo is one of the best Halo-Halo for me.

After 2 days 1-night stay, we really enjoyed our stay here at Thunderbird Poro Point Resort (La Union). From their nicest rooms to amazing facilities (swimming pools), to fantastic food at their Olives Restaurant, to the pristine beach and to their amazing staff, everything was great! So, if you are looking for the next travel or hotel destination in the Philippines, definitely "Thunderbird Poro Point" is the best place to be. Been to a lot of resorts and hotels, but this Santorini Greece-inspired hotel is totally a-must and worth visiting.
