Top 10 Best Travel Destinatons in Malacca Malaysia!!!

Queen Victoria's Fountain

Malacca Malaysia...it's just over last weekend I visited this amazing city in Malaysia! From Singapore, I traveled by bus and had an amazing time here. So,  here are My Top 10 Best Travel Destinations in Malacca Malaysia which I'm so recommending to visit to.

1. Hindu Temple - This Hindu Temple will amaze you as it will bring you to a different place. The architectural design is very interesting and really one of a kind. And as a Catholic, going to Hindu Temple gave me the wisdom to understand how they praised or do prayers to their Gods.

2.  Malacca River-  Malacca River is one of the transportation offers to foreigners to see the other side of Malacca. For about S$6, you can ride the Malacca Cruise Boats and it operates from 9am to 11:30pm. Boats depart roughly every 30 minutes.

 3. Kampung Ku Indah  - where you could see all the Kampung or old traditional houses which they still preserved.

4. St. Peter's Church- One of the oldest churches preserved in Malacca, built in 1710 and still a beautiful church.

5.  A. Famosa Fort - This 16th-century Portuguese fort has been mostly destroyed; occupied a massive area and contained numerous government buildings, churches, and hospitals back then. Somehow this place, I compared this to "Intramuros" of the Philippines after seeing this old structure.

6.  St. Peter's Church -  St. Peter's Church is in the historic city of Malacca, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 7 June 2008. It is the oldest church in Malaysia, built by the Portuguese descendants after religious freedom was proclaimed by the Dutch over Malacca in 1702. One of its artifacts is the 1608 bell found inside the Church's Tower. (TripAdvisor.com)

7. Christ Church-  This church is what I remember that captured me when I did my research back then and one of the reasons why I wanted to visit Malacca, as the color of it's  RED is very unique and one of a kind.

8.  Queen Victoria's Fountain- Queen Victoria's fountain as it's situated in the middle of Dutch Square. A throwback to the days of Empire but it has been very well preserved and provides a good photo opportunity. The inscription reads " Victoria Regina 1837- 1901. Erected by the people of Malacca in memory of a great Queen 1904." (TripAdvisor.com)

9.  Jonker Street- if you wanted to buy cheap souvenirs in Malacca, this is the place I am recommending as everything here is cheap and the street food here is superb!

10. Malacca Straits Mosque - The Malacca Straits Mosque is a mosque located on the man-made Malacca Island near Malacca Town in Malacca state, Malaysia. It looks like a floating structure if the water level is high. The construction cost of the mosque is about MYR10 million. The Opening Ceremony was done on the 24th of November 2006 by the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia (Yang di-Pertuan Agong) Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail. (Wikipedia.com)
